The proposal involves replacing the existing dwelling with a new home designed to maximise views and natural light. The main living spaces are positioned on the elevated ground floor, featuring an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area with a larder and study/snug, opening onto a recessed terrace with long views across open green space towards the sea. Bedrooms are arranged across the lower ground and first floors. A vaulted entrance hall with vertical glazing and a single-flight staircase creates a bright and welcoming arrival. The design also incorporates strong sustainability measures, including high levels of insulation, airtightness and energy-efficient lighting.
