FARM HOUSE NR DARTMOUTH
The proposal for Farmhouse was to provide the family with a larger kitchen, which is currently insufficient for the size of the house and to provide a utility room which is large enough to accommodate the day to day life of a working farmhouse. This was achieved by opening up the existing window openings to the ground floor and forming a contemporary extension using glass and metal cladding with a zinc flat roof.
There was also internal remodelling including the plumbing and electrics throughout the house which were renewed and replaced with a more efficient system. The timber windows were replaced with a more efficient and slimline hardwood double glazed casement units. Works also included stonework and lime rendering in keeping with a property of this period.
This building project also included the remodelling of the properties agricultural barn.
