PRIVATE DWELLING TORQUAY
We replaced the existing extension with a wrap-around contemporary design which is more sympathetic to the existing house, which provides an elegant solution to replace the existing 2-storey extension.
Slim columns support the balcony and the main roof to create the impression that the balcony is a hovering, horizontal plane above a fully glazed facade, thereby linking the two main wings of the house together. This also links the house to the garden more successfully to create an inside-to-outside feel to the living spaces at ground floor level.
